Daniel Craig says he’ll play Bond until someone tells him to stop

SKYFALL is set to release this November, barely a month after the formal 50th Anniversary of the James Bond franchise. The BBC was recently on set as SKYFALL films in London (after finishing up in Shanghai and Turkey), and while there they managed to glean a few insights and hopes from star Daniel Craig.

We all know about the financial troubles that beset MGM in the recent past, and for a while filming on SKYFALL was suspended as matters were sorted out.  But even so, “we haven’t been resting on our laurels, we’ve been plotting what to do with this film,” Craig said of the delay.  And as for his experience with making Bond films thus far? “The first one was a whirr – it was a new experience and flew by – the second one was the tricky second album, but this one we’ve really planned and got a great script.  It’s going to be different from the last one, but it will still be a great Bond movie… [we’re] going to put on a good show.

Sounds solid to me.  See you on November 9th, Mr. Bond.

And you too, SKYFALL co-star Bérénice Marlohe (aka “she who I will never want to stop posting pictures of”)…
