If you think that Daniel Radcliffe is going to take the world’s longest nap on his giant pile of money after HARRY POTTER wraps, think again. The man’s already lining up new projects, and his next appears to be the latest Nicholas Sparks tearjerker, THE LUCKY ONE.
The book follows a young soldier who finds a photograph of a woman that he believes brings him good luck. Once he’s home, he goes on a quest to find her, and discovers she’s a divorced mom. And then I’m sure it gets sad at some point.
Opposite Radcliffe will be Lily Rabe, and between Harry Potter and a relative unknown, it seems like a rather strange cast compared to the former Sparks pairings of Gosling/McAdams, Tatum/Seyfried and that one with Miley Cyrus.
Presumably I’ll have some girl drag me to this, but I have to say I am a bit curious to see what Radcliff can do outside of Potter-world, as I haven’t seen Equus and he was just playing himself that one time on Extras.
