The last update we got on James Watkins’ THE WOMAN IN BLACK came back at the beginning of January in the form of a full cast list and a new still. Well it isn’t much but today we’ve got a look at yet another new still from the flick!
Unlike the last couple stills released from THE WOMAN IN BLACK today’s shot offers up a bit of action. Kind of… Sort of? We’ve got star Daniel Radcliffe wielding a hatchet. Nothing good can come from that. Scroll on down below and check out the still for yourselves!
The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.
Along with Radcliffe the film also stars Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer, Shaun Dooley, Cathy Sara, Mary Stockley, Roger Allam, Liz White, Lucy May Barker, Tim McMullan, Alisa Khazanova, Daniel Cerqueira, David Burke and Victor McGuire. Still no word on when THE WOMAN IN BLACK is set to drop but as always when we hear more you’ll be the first to know!
