Fangoria scored an interview with Frank Darabont (THE GREEN MILE) in which he discusses the status of his adaptation of Stephen King’s short story, THE MIST. It’s a nasty little tale of shoppers trapped inside a supermarket while mostly unseen beasties wait outside to feast on them. Here’s a taste of what Darbont had to say:
“I am at this very moment writing the adaptation of THE MIST. Depending on a few factors, it may well be the next movie I direct, possibly next year. Finally, my low-budget monster flick! And no, it will not be for television. There’s been some confusion out there in geek land about that.”
Excellent news for both King and Darabont fans. You can check out the rest of the interview here.
