Warner Bros. announced today that principal photography has begun on Dark Castle’s UNKNOWN WHITE MALE. (A.k.a. The “Twilight Zone episode they never made”).
The flick sounds like a winner on many accounts: It’s director Jaume Collet-Serra’s follow-up to his successful ORPHAN (also made for Dark Castle); it stars super badass Liam Neeson, once again taking on all who dare f*ck with him; and it features a couple of sexy blondes who will fit right into this Hitchcockian tale: January Jones (below) and Diane Kruger (right) – both of whom couldn’t be sexier if they tried.
Liam Neeson stars as Dr. Martin Harris, who awakens after a car accident in Berlin to discover that his wife (January Jones) suddenly doesn’t recognize him and another man (Aidan Quinn) has assumed his identity.
Ignored by disbelieving authorities and hunted by mysterious assassins, he finds himself alone, tired, and on the run. Aided by an unlikely ally (Diane Kruger), Martin plunges headlong into a deadly mystery that will force him to question his sanity, his identity, and just how far he’s willing to go to uncover the truth.
Bruno Ganz, Aiden Quinn, and Frank Langella also co-star.
UNKNOWN WHITE MALE is being shot entirely on location in Germany, with some filming being accomplished at Studio Babelsberg, the oldest large-scale studio complex in the world. Dark Castle’s APPARITION is also shooting there – a two-for-one deal!
