Dark Knight forever?

JoBloJoBlo

THE DARK KNIGHT In this day and age, when a movie makes an unprecedented assload of money, like THE DARK KNIGHT, what’s the studio’s next play? Make a sequel, of course. How many, exactly? Lots. As long as people keep paying, they’ll keep milking that shit for all it’s worth. Case in point: SAW. The point here is that Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes, who owns Warner Bros., recently mentioned at a press conference that he’s planning on making Batman films for as long as they keep making assloads of money. He says, “The obvious thing we’re going to take from it is more Dark Knight. We look at Harry Potter, it’s fantastic to have franchises that last that long. We want to do that with Batman and Superman and perhaps Sherlock Holmes. The sequels are as good, with new characters added, as were the originals. That wasn’t the case years ago.” So rest easy, fanboys, you’ll be getting as much Batman as you’re willing to pay for.
