For an actress of her stature, Meryl Streep is quite prolific these days. The recent LIONS FOR LAMBS, RENDITION, EVENING, and with no less than four movies on her project for 2008, shows that Meryl is not letting age slow her down. And now here comes DARK MATTER, a film that played at Sundance two years ago and won a prize. The film co-stars Aidan Quinn and Chinese actor Liu Ye, and deals with a Chinese student who comes to America to study science, but who gets derailed in the complex politics of American academics. Sounds somewhat confounding, but the film has garnered raves and sounds like it has the potential be a serious drama on the upper echelon of serious dramas.
