Darkness Trailer Up

Yahoo movies has posted the U.S. trailer for DARKNESS. The movie stars Anna Paquin, Lena Olin, Iain Glen, Stephen Enquist and Giancarlo Giannini. The mere presence of Lena will get my butt into a theater seat. She just oozes that edge that tells you she’ll do to you all the things you want…and probably a couple you don’t. For those who prefer a younger vibe, well you can groove on Rogue, I mean Anna Paquin.

But I digress. This is a creepy flick about creepy happenings. The official logline goes like this:

A teenage girl (Paquin) moves into a remote countryside house with her family, only to discover that their gloomy new home has a horrifying past that threatens to destroy the family.

Not sure why this has been left on the shelf for so long, but the trailer makes it look like the “gets better with age” adage is the one to apply here. Strong cast, scary premise, good looking film. I’m sure we can all put that in our pipe and smoke it.
