David Krumholtz, Patrick Fischler & others join Coen Brothers’ Hail, Caesar!

The ensemble cast for the Coen Brothers film HAIL, CAESAR! just got a little bit bigger. THR is reporting David Krumholtz (SERENITY, Numbers), Patrick Fischler (2 GUNS, Mad Men), Fisher Stevens (THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL, Lost) and Clancy Brown (THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, STARSHIP TROOPERS) have joined the upcoming film, and they'll star alongside George Clooney, Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Josh Brolin, Ralph Fiennes and Tilda Swinton.

HAIL, CAESAR! will follow Clooney's 1950s Hollywood fixer Eddie Manni as he tries to find an actor who mysteriously disappears while in the middle of filming a movie called "Hail, Caesar!" Krumholtz, Fischler and Stevens will play screenwriters who also happen to be Communists, and Brown will play an actor starring in the film.

The Coens always have a fantastic cast for their films, but I'm very impressed with the actors they've landed for HAIL, CAESAR! Even if the movie didn't star big names like Clooney, Tatum and Hill, I'd still be interested in seeing it, especially with today's new additions to the cast.

A release date hasn't been announced for HAIL, CAESAR!, but the Coens will start filming their new movie on November 10 in Los Angeles.
