Day of the Trailer

Back in 2004, when they decided they’d remake George A. Romero’s DAWN OF THE DEAD, I had the worse case scenario in mind at what the result was going to be. Lucky for us, Zack Snyder and James Gunn gave us one kick ass ride that wasn’t better than the original, but was damn good in its own right.


Then they decided to remake Romero’s DAY OF THE DEAD, with Ving Rhames returning along with Mena Survari and Nick Cannon starring. Since it’s being directed by FRIDAY THE 13th PART 2 director Steve Miner, I had some hope this flick might turn out as surprisingly awesome as DAWN did. Then I saw the trailer.


Call me an A-hole, but based off THIS TRAILER, I’m gonna say this remake is the worse case scenario that we were worried about with DAWN. Seriously, it looks like a steaming pile of donkey balls- so bad, that it’s just hard to watch. What happened???


Maybe the trailer is just bad, maybe the movie will actually rock, they just cut this thing together without trying too hard. Or maybe it’ll suck. Spit some bullets below on your take of the new DAY TRAILER, and prepare for a bad day to be a zombie this April, when DAY hits theaters everywhere.
