It’s not often that I blow my load over an upcoming movie as quickly as I have for DAY WATCH, but f*ck – I just think it’s got so much damn potential. The first film of the trilogy, NIGHT WATCH, set up some epic battles and drama to unfold…at least in my opinion.
So to add to the fact that I’ve blown my wad, a new still has been released for the film (or re-released for us in the states) and it looks pretty damn cool.
If you aren’t up to date on your Russian horror trilogy news and don’t know the plot for DAY WATCH, here you go: It appears that the story takes off right from where the first film left off, with the soldiers of light battling the warriors of darkness; but now for possession of the “Chalk of Fate”, which controls destiny.
