DC Universe offers a new look at Robin of the live-action Titans show

Not long after revealing the launch lineup for their upcoming streaming service, DC Universe has given us two new looks at Brendon Thwaites as Robin in the live-action TITANS series. In addition to the stylish photos, DC also released an official synopsis for the service's debut show:

TITANS follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and lovable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

You can check out the new images of Thwaites as Robin below:

Doesn't he looks awesome? I'm really digging the battle-damaged gear, tattered domino mask and robo-abs.

Recently, chief creative officer and publisher at DC Entertainment, Jim Lee, released a statement pertaining to the new streaming service that said: “DC Universe is so much more than a streaming service. It’s a welcoming place for everyone to immerse themselves in their own level of DC fandom, with the epic characters, stories, and experiences they have come to expect from DC." He then added, "We are investing in and creating original, high-quality shows including the new Titans series, and curating the most beloved nostalgic content, while at the same time elevating the comic reading experience to new heights. Nothing this robust has ever been offered to fans before.”

The DC Universe platform will launch the live-action TV series TITANS toward the end of this year. In 2019, the service will host new live-action shows such as SWAMP THING and DOOM PATROL alongside animated series like YOUNG JUSTICE: OUTSIDERS and HARLEY QUINN. Additionally, remastered TV shows the likes of BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES and the original WONDER WOMAN show starring Linda Carter will also be available to stream. The new platform will also give subscribers the opportunity to partake in animated films such as JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE FLASHPOINT PARADOX, GREEN LANTERN: FIRST FLIGHT and WONDER WOMAN.

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more news related to DC Universe, as I'm sure this is merely the start of a streaming service tailor made for DC comic fans.
