I obviously know what they’re doing with the spelling of the title for the sequel to THE DESCENT – but how the f*ck are we supposed to say that? “De-Two-Cent?” If that’s what they want, I’m not doing it!
Neil Marshall ain’t saying it that way either! He revealed at FrightFest that he while he won’t be directing the sequel to his awesome horror flick, he’ll be heavily involved.
“I will not be directing THE DESCENT 2, but I will be overseeing every aspect of the production. There’s nothing to oversee yet, though, as the script is currently being written. My DESCENT editor Jon Harris will make his feature directing debut with the sequel, and I can’t think of a better man for the job.”
No story details are available yet, but it shouldn’t be hard to predict that a few more unlucky f*cks will find their way down in the caves with those… whatever they are. Hopefully badass Sarah (pictured) will be able to lend a hand.
