Described as an action/horror/hip-hop/zombie movie – DEAD HEIST is about a group of gansta bankrobbers who unfortunately plan their heist on the day of a zombie epidemic. Sheeeeeeiit.
On the film’s official Myspace page, the director goes to great lengths to describe how his villains are not quite vampires, not quite zombies, but a little of both (and apparently more than a little of the 28 DAYS LATER infected). The most exciting revelation? That they won’t be shrieking or moaning, but panting. This movie hopes to make panting as scary as possible (that said, if you check out the trailer it sure seems like they’re doing a lot of screeching).
The film stars Bonecrusher, E-40, and Big Daddy Kane – astonishingly this is the first film they’ve all been in together. It’s kinda like when DeNiro and Pacino paired up for HEAT.
You’ll have to wait until August 7th to see it though. I know, you’ll just have to find something else to do with your time until then. Go catch up on your favorite Bonecrusher CDs.
