Dead On Romero

Are you a fan of the horror genre? If your reading this then of course you are! And if your reading this, that also means you’ll definately be looking forward to DEAD ON: THE LIFE AND CINEMA OF GEORGE A. ROMERO.

Are you scratching your head, wondering what that is? Basically… it’s a documentary all about one of the master of horror, the father of zombie films if you will, Mr. George A. Romero.

The first trailer for the documentary has hit the net and you can check that out below. Filmmaker Rusty Nails has had this film in the works for years. Years. Apparently he’s researched everything he could about Mr. Romero. From hundreds of hours of interview footage to anything Romero related he can get his hands on.

And it looks like it’s going to pay off. A documentary on George Romero alone is enough.. but it’s the people that will be speaking about the genius writer/director that really makes this one jump out. The list of names lending their opinions on Mr. Romero are: Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, Ed Harris, John Carpenter, Stephen King, Dennis Hopper, Danny Boyle, Rob Zombie, Dario Argento, John Landis, Debbie Rochon, Penn Jillette, Tom Savini, Ken Foree, Roger Ebert, Stuart Gordon, and Mick Garris, among lots others. That’s gotta give you goosebumps. The idea of all these people sharing their thoughts of one man… I’m stoked.

Rusty Nails is currently looking for people that may have items to contribute to the documentary.
