Dead Rabbit Films to release Tom Holland’s Twisted Tales for mobile devices

With every new technology and avenue for entertainment comes a new way for filmmakers to get their stuff seen by millions of people. It’s not just a theater / TV / home video world anymore, but with the internet and mobile devices, the opportunity to become entertained is everywhere.

In comes Dead Rabbit Films and legendary horror director Tom Holland, who are collaborating on a new series of short films for the mobile device crowd entitled TWISTED TALES, which are along the same wave lengths as THE OUTER LIMITS, THE TWILIGHT ZONE, and TALES FROM THE CRYPT.

But just because it’s projected on the super-small screen doesn’t mean the productions are super-small. Not only is Holland directing these short films, but he also has a plethora of stars involved, including genre favorites William Forsythe, Danielle Harris, AJ Bowen, Bonnie Piesse, and Shaun Benson (to name a few).

The TWISTED TALES episodes run about 10 minutes in length, and already feature the following titles: FRED & HIS GPS, TO HELL WITH YOU, and VAMPIRE’S DANCE, with more promised to be on the way. According to Holland, Twisted Tales is a great opportunity to explore the world of quality short film storytelling on a whole new platform of technology. We’re at the start of a new wave of distribution and it’s a very exciting time for myself and for all those involved.
