To be directed by Phedon Papamichael (say that 3 times fast) and written by Brad Keene (who also wrote THE GRAVEDANCERS), the flick is set in a small, God-fearing town, story focuses on a young girl caught between her Christian upbringing and a desire to experience the outside world. Her desire to break free is amplified when residents begin to die suspiciously.
As I initially read through that synopsis, I thought ‘Hey, this ain’t no horror flick! It ain’t no thriller either, this is pure Lifetime movie of the week!’, until I got to that part where people in the town start getting knocked off one by one. Whew! What a relief! Good thing they threw in some mysterious murders in there, or I’d be worried!
