The Toybox Mischa Barton Tom Nagel

It's been a little over four months since we shared the first trailer for director Tom Nagel's horror film THE TOYBOX, and now another trailer for the film has dropped online ahead of its September release.

Starring Denise Richards and Mischa Barton, THE TOYBOX has the following synopsis:

Jennifer (Richards) and her family go on a summer road trip in a used RV with her husband's estranged father and brother. Along the way, they find Samantha (Barton) and her brother, broken down on the side of the highway. After driving into the middle of nowhere, the RV takes on a mind of its own, crashing and stranding them in the scorching and isolated desert. Little by little, the unsuspecting group of travelers is blindsided by the terrible secrets within the walls of the RV and find themselves fighting to survive.

Nagel crafted the script with Brian Nagel, Jeff Denton, and Jeff Miller. The writers also produced the film, with Eric Brenner, Jim Jacobsen, Doug Kramer, and Ronnie D. Lee serving as executive producers.

THE TOYBOX seems like an odd title for this one, as it brings to mind the idea that this is going to be a killer doll movie or something along those lines. I didn't really get interested in watching this movie until I looked past the title to see that it's actually about a haunted RV… Now that I have that information, I have to see it!

Check out the trailer below and see if you'll be interested in watching THE TOYBOX when it reaches theatres and VOD on September 18.
