Depp is awesome

It’s nice to hear about big Hollywood celebrities being cool every now and then. So here we have one of the biggest, in Johnny Depp, being extremely cool to a waiter. He was chilling out at a restaurant recently with Marion Cottilard and director Michael Mann, and a bunch of other folks in town for the PUBLIC ENEMIES premiere, when he tipped $4,400. Said the waiter:

“He had visited our restaurant several times before while he was filming ‘Public Enemies’ and he promised me that he would return after the premiere… He may be one of the most famous actors in the world but he is a very ‘humble guy’ and a really cool dude… I have worked with a lot of stars like Sean Connery and Robert De Niro but Johnny Depp is my favorite He is a very soft spoken guy who is very charming and sweet — when I wait for him he doesn’t like to be too fussed over and is not in any way demanding.”

So there you have it. He is sexy, charming and generous. Sometimes it just makes you feel bad about yourself. Other times it makes you feel like spreading a vicious rumor about him dealing crack to nuns. But that bastard Depp is so cool this isn’t the time for the latter.
