Beyond the film being described as a supernatural suspense thriller, there’s nothing known about THE LIVING whatsoever. There’s something intriguing about a film staying under wraps and keeping under the radar for a little bit. Could it be that original that they don’t want the secret to come out in case someone decides to rip off their idea? Maybe…
The film was greenlit based off a pitch by Derrickson and EMILY ROSE collaborator Paul Harris Boardman. As long as it’s more along the lines of EMILY ROSE and not THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, then I’d say we’re in pretty good shape.
