Just last week, we ran the scoop on THE DESCENT and its Christmas arrival. We didn’t have any official specs or artwork to show you guys then, but what do you know, we have ’em today thanks to DavisDVD.
Set for release on Boxing Day here in the Great White North (December 26th), the film comes in separate rated and unrated editions (widescreen for the unrated, fullscreen for the theatrical) with Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 tracks on both. As we suspected, it appears that a lot of the extras from the R2 DVD were carried over, but here they are anyways:
Compared to what R2 fans got, looks as though we miss out on the DTS sound and (possibly) a couple galleries. Instead, we get the discussion on the North American and UK endings and DD 2.0 sound. Seems a little unfair for audiophiles, but what do I know?
