Details arrive for the Mallrats 25th anniversary art show happening tomorrow

If you're like me, the early films of Kevin Smith hold a dear place in your heart. From CLERKS to DOGMA, CHASING AMY and JERSEY GIRL … Well, okay, so maybe not JERSEY GIRL. But, you get what I mean. Kevin Smith was the voice of a generation and MALLRATS remains one of his most unheralded movies. While Smith continues to work on the long-gestating sequel, this year marks the 25th anniversary of the mall-centric comedy.

With celebrations somewhat muted this year, Kevin Smith has found a way to have a Mooby's pop-up and other fun reminders of his continued filmmaking adventures. The latest is an art show inspired by MALLRATS featuring the characters as, well, rats! Gallery88 will be holding the show tomorrow, September 25th, in honor of the movie milestone and you can check out some of the cool wares below.

Among the many artists to be featured at the Mallrats gallery event is Chogrin, who'll have his Jay and Silent Bob as Rats on display:

Chogrin's original designs will also be featured as limited edition wood prints and also as toys!

Chogrin has collaborated with The Beast Brothers & Mexican Bootleg to bring his designs to toy form! These "Prototype" editions of the toys will be available exclusively for the show!

Along with the toys, a set of "Magic Eye" prints will also be available.

Be sure to check out the Mallrats 25th anniversary event tomorrow at Gallery 1988! Also, why not stop by Chogrin's official website, where you can find plenty of amazing items for sale.
