Devanny Pinn to star in Scream 4 Your Life

The return of Wes Craven’s SCREAM franchise also means the return of its countless imitators. The first (and what has to be the most obvious) attempt to cash in is a flick calling itself SCREAM 4 YOUR LIFE from Clearwater Productions. That promotional image you see to the right is one that is actually being sent out to press. Me thinks a cease and desist from the Weinsteins is in their near future. Here is the plot:

A genre actress who had quit show business because of an obsessive stalker a decade prior finds herself in a ruthless game of death with a serial killer who is imitating fan-favorite “kill scenes” from her most popular films. The stakes are risen when those closest to her become the pawns in these grisly re-enactments and she learns that her former stalker may not actually be the one behind these gruesome acts of horror movie-inspired excessiveness…

Devanny Pinn (below, NUDE NUNS WITH BIG GUNS) scored the lead role. She will join what is described as “a cast of fresh faces and familiar genre talent.” The film is directed by Eric Pereira (who served as second unit assistant director PIRANHA) and written by David Anders Jr.

Shooting begins in Los Angeles this March for an early summer release.
