Yesterday came the news that Shawn Hatosy has been added to the fifth season of Showtime’s killer series “Dexter”; the actor joins the recently announced Julia Stiles and the returning Julie Benz. The producers aren’t quite done however; Deadline.com reveals that Ireland-bred Maria Doyle Kennedy (pictured above) has also come aboard the show, which stars Michael C. Hall as a serial killer with a heart of gold.
Kennedy will play an Irish nanny hired by Dexter… and that’s all the info available; details about the season are understandably being kept under wraps. One thing we do know is that there will not be a “big bad” ala John Lithgow in Season 4.
“Dexter” Season 5 will premiere on SEPTEMBER 26th.
