Update: Die Hard is back…in a battery commercial

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

UPDATE: Well that was fun while it lasted, but it turns out #DieHardIsBack is just a two minute battery commerical (which you can see above) that features Willis recreating his part, while fighting Clarence Gilyard's Theo, with a little help from De'voreaux White's Argyle. So – there it is. Is anyone really surprised??? Yippie Ki Lame.

ORIGINAL STORY: What in the name of Hans Gruber's ghost is going on here?! Bruce Willis's daughter, Rumer, just posted a very interesting video to her instagram page hinting at the return of John McClane in some way, shape or form. Look right here!

What in the world does all this mean? Your guess is as good as mine! In fact, please let us know your guesses in the comments below! Could it be that a new DIE HARD movie's been shot during lockdown? Doesn't seem too likely. Rather, this is probably some kind of product tie-in similar to what Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have been doing lately but we'll see.Already this teaser is better than A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD. Given that the release date is listed as today we should know soon so keep your eye on this space!
