Disney’s Andi Mack actress Chelsea T. Zhang to join DC Universe’s Titans

It's been announced that Disney Channel actress Chelsea T. Zhang has landed a role as a series regular for the sophomore season of DC Universe's TITANS. Although she's appeared in features the likes of ALMOST PERFECT and RELISH, Zhang will be afforded the opportunity to shed her suagry sweet image as ANDI MACK's Brittany by playing Rose Wilson, aka the Ravager, for DC's mature-rated superhero show.

Created by Marv Wolfman and Art Nichols, Wilson is the daughter of Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke. According to DC Comics lore, Rose Wilson made her 1992 debut courtesy of the Deathstroke #15 comic book. Since that time, Wilson, as the Ravager, has acted as both friend and foe of the Teen Titans superhero ensemble. Previously, the character had appeared in a variety of DC-related television shows and animated films.

To learn more about Rose's character, you can read the description below:

“Daughter of the deadly assassin, Deathstroke, Rose Wilson was forced to undergo the same procedure that granted her father nearly superhuman abilities, becoming a weapon known as Ravager. Ever resentful, she seeks out the Titans not only for their protection but to get back at her father. Knowing how dangerous it is to be the offspring of their deadliest foe, the Titans take her in but that doesn’t necessarily mean they trust her.”

Set to arrive as Rose's biological father, Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke, for TITANS, is NYPD BLUE and LA BAMBA actor Esai Morales. As one of the most skilled assassins in DC continuity, Deathstroke has served as a deadly thorn in the sides of superheroes from Gotham City to Metropolis and beyond. Joining both Zhang and Morales for TITANS is Chella Man, who will star as the biological son of Deathstroke, Joeseph Wilson, aka Jericho. When the character was first introduced in the pages of Tales of the Teen Titans #43 circa 1984, Jericho arrived as a superhero and member of the Teen Titans.
