We have been hearing about this new film adaptation of “The Portrait of Dorian Gray” for a long while now, and now we finally have something tangible to look at. The first teaser trailer for the film, starring Ben Barnes and Colin Firth, has hit the web, and you can give it a peek below. It’s highly stylized, looking something like a cross between a Tim Burton film and an UNDERWORLD flick. Certaninly intriguing, and worth a look.
Dorian Gray tells the story of a corrupt young man who remains eternally young and handsome as long as a special painting of him remains unharmed.
Based on Oscar Wilde’s novel, and directed by Oliver Parker, DORIAN GRAY hits theaters on 9/9/09.
