Earlier this week we showed you an assload of new images from the upcoming genre film DORIAN GRAY (click HERE if you don’t believe me). Today is a new day and there’s even a new poster — a UK quad poster to be exact!
What I like about this poster is that it appreas as though Gray is being hacked in half, and instead of blood he’s filled with leaves and a weird glowing auro that can only mean one thing: the man’s a ghost. Or a highlander.
Since I’ve never read the source material, I have no idea what the poster is telling me or why this guy can bleed leaves. Maybe the synopsis will shed some light: Dorian Gray is a young man who becomes the subject of a painting. As the man descends into a hedonistic lifestyle, the portrait begins to age and morph, but he doesn’t.
So pretty much that doesn’t help at all. Oh well. The poster is still cool, and hey… all the more reason to check this sucker out. Directed by Oliver Park, GREY stars Ben Barnes, Colin Firth, Rebecca Hall (pictured below), and Ben Chaplin. The UK will see this sucker in theaters September 9th–no North American release date has been set yet. But we’ll keep you posted!
