Two days ago we saw a nifty little tie-in for Zack Snyder’s SUCKER PUNCH, an animated short film called “The Trenches.”
I hope you’re ready for the “Dragon!”
That’s right y’all, a new animated short inspired by the film has come in, and like the first, it takes place in the imaginary world conjured about by lead hottie, Baby Doll (Emily Browning). Here, in some fiery underworld, watch a soldier face off with a legion of Orcs, all the while a voice-over rhapsodizing about the power of belief is played. Perhaps not as cool as the first, but worth a glance nonetheless.
The official synopsis for the short:
DRAGON: In Sucker Punch, the girls drop into a castle courtyard and find themselves in the middle of a chaotic battle between a hoard of gruesome Orcs and an army of Black Knights. The original cause of the massive conflict is hopelessly lost amidst the death and destruction. “Dragon” is a tale of religious persecution exploring the origin of this conflict. Who is the righteous and who is the heathen?
SUCKER PUNCH takes a mighty swing into theaters next Friday (March 25th).
