DreamWorks snatch up high-concept sci-fi flick from scribe Nic Kelman

The words ‘high-concept’ and ‘sci-fi film’ seem to go hand in hand don’t they? In recent history we’ve seen countless ‘high concept sci-fi flicks.’ Some have left us in awe while others fall flat on their face and don’t deliver. Either way the potential is always there. And that’s exactly what we have with this upcoming flick from DreamWorks.

Actually potential is really the only thing we have with this new project. Variety are reporting that DreamWorks just snatched up a high-concept sci-fi script from scribe Nic Kelman called GENNERIS. And that’s all we know! No plot details, no potential directors… hell they don’t even have the producers sorted out yet. There’s not even any use speculating on this one… it could be anything!

If you think scribe Nic Kelman’s history might clue you in on what GENNERIS is about, think again! Kelman doesn’t have much to go on. All he’s got backing him right now is a few novels, with his most popular being GIRLS. So there you go.
