Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler to join forces again for untitled comedy

We leap from one Adam Sandler project to the next. Maybe I was right about the whole “a new month, a new Sandler movie” thing.

This project sees Sandler working again with Drew Barrymore. The untitled comedy for Warner Bros. will see the two as single parents who after an awful blind date wind up stuck together at a family resort with their children from previous marriages. Yikes. Frank Coraci (CLICK, THE WEDDING SINGER) will direct a script from Ivan Menchell and Clare Sera.

Look at that header photo. Remember those days? Then after THE WEDDING SINGER the two worked again on 50 FIRST DATES. It’s been a long while since I’ve seen that. It’s actually sort of depressing. It definitely hasn’t received as many watches from me as THE WEDDING SINGER has. I’m actually do for a rewatch on that one. I like when these two get together. Here’s hoping that this film will be a good one.
