Got a fun little trailer for you to check out courtesy of the Leighton-Meester.com website. It’s for a slasher called DRIVE-THRU and looks like it manages to be tongue-in-cheek and intense all at the same time. First let’s talk concept:
Horror gets Super Sized when Horny The Clown, the demonic mascot of “Hella-Burger,” starts slashing Orange County teenagers with his meat cleaver from Hell.
Not surprisingly since the trailer is hosted on one of her fan sites, young hottie Leighton Meester has a lead role as a teenager approaching her 18th birthday. Her character discovers that she may have a secret connection to the killer. Not exactly fresh ground to cover, but the trailer looks like so much damn fun, who cares! You can check that out here.
While I was unfamiliar with Ms. Meester prior to this, there’s no way I can forget that name, or that body. Here’s hoping she gets lots more work…especially if it entails her in more bikinis. Either way, DRIVE-THRU just jumped onto my must see list!
