MIRRORS – January 13th
This is one of the flicks I was able to check out this summer, and I wasn’t disappointed! Jack Bauer… I mean, Kiefer Sutherland and Amy Smart delivered when it came hardcore thrills and chills. Not to mention plenty of jaw snapping gore. Alex Aja proved that there’s more to him than psychopathic hillbillies, and it is in your best interest to put this puppy at the top of your must-see list. Plus an alternative ending? I’m so there.

FRIDAY THE 13TH: UNCUT DELUXE EDITION – February 3rd
After years of speculation, the truth of the uncut FRIDAY THE 13TH has finally came to light–and on DVD this February. Yes, we all hoped and dreamed the release of FRIDAY THE 13TH rehash in theaters would spawn a special treatment DVD, but I don’t think anyone expected this. Nice! And you thought Kevin Bacon died hard in the original cut? Some cool features, but really… this is all about the uncut version of the film. Kill her mommy! Kill her!

FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2: DELUXE EDITION – February 3rd
They’re also releasing FRIDAY PART 3 in deluxe edition, but the specs have yet to be released. We DO have the specs for PART II, however, and while there is no uncut version, this is looking mighty fine. Fine I say! Nice features, and undoubtedly remastered, I can’t wait to watch the dude in the wheelchair get a machete to the face and a free ride down a flight of stairs. Say what you will about the rehash, without it, we probably wouldn’t be getting these deluxe edition DVDs. Camp Blood, here we come!

ALPHABET KILLER –January 6th – Because it stars Eliza Dushku, yo!
BLOODSUCKERS FROM OUTER SPACE – December 30th – Because the title is classic.
