DON’T ANSWER THE PHONE – October 10th
The classic slasher is back in this totally uncut, unrated, unedited for TV special edition. If only the killer in WHEN A STRANGER CALLS actually killed the babysitter… it’d be this movie. Now why don’t they remake a feel good movie like this for today’s audiences? It might not be cinematic gold, but you’ll be able to relive the good ol’ days when horror was gritty and unapologetic. Word.

NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES – October 24th
You went ahead and had a life this summer, and subsequently you missed most of these episodes when they aired on TNT. No worries, they’re coming to DVD just in time for Fall, where you can go back to having no life, where your days are cold and boring, and the only thing that loves you is your pet sock and your TV. Coincidently enough, Fall is my favorite season.

FATAL CONTACT: THE BIRD FLU IN AMERICA – October 31st
After you go out trick-or-treating, you come home and eat all the candy in one sitting, then decide to wash it down with a 40oz. of Mickey’s and a fifth of JD. Once those bottles are tapped, you run down the street naked, covered only in Jell-O and peanut butter, only to be cornered by a pack of raging Pugs and Pomeranians. After you’re licked clean and you’ve puked your guts out (but you’re still hammered), you wander into the video store and the only thing they have left is this. Then, and only then, would it understandable why you would watch this movie.

GOING BACK – October 17th
Hailed as the one Bruce Campbell movie even his biggest fans haven’t seen, GOING BACK is coming back into circulation after a 20 year hiatus. Made directly after EVIL DEAD, this is about as far away from horror as it gets, but it’s Campbell baby, so show it some love.
The Goods:
SARS WARS: BANGKOK ZOMBIE CRISIS – OUT NOW – Because the title says it all.
STREET TRASH – September 26th – Because the cover rocks! And if you ever needed a reason to kick that drinking habit, watching hobos down some booze and melt from the inside out should just be enough to push ya on the wagon!
DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS – October 31st – Because it deals with seductive vampire swingers from the sixties.
