SAW III – January 23rd
A month ago we found out SAW III was hitting DVD this January, and now we finally get a peek at the sweet cover and the special features. Coolest thing about this release? Lionsgate has finally wised up and is releasing an unrated version from the get-go, and not 6 months down the line. Bravo! Sure, it may only be an extra 5 minutes, but as the rated version was brutal enough, a mere 5 minutes of extra gore is really all you need.

INCUBUS – February 6th
Ah, Tara Reid. She’s hot and was once on top of the world, and now she’s hot… and drunk… and starring in straight to the internet movies like this one. Yep, the first movie to premiere online is making its way to DVD. The only upside? Um… she gets naked in this one? I don’t know what the upside is (nor do I know if she gets naked in it either), but it’ll probably be worth a rental just to satisfy your curiosity. How bad can it really be, right? Oh, and dig them special features!

OPEN WATER 2: ADRIFT – February 20th
The first OPEN WATER did nothing for me, but this one actually looks pretty good- and a helluva lot more entertaining. Though the DVD is bare bones, I’m diggin’ the cover here and the tag-line works well too. As it has to live up to very low expectations, I’m sure it’ll rock our socks off. If not, we can pray for gratuitous nudity and hope our prayers are answered.

NIGHT SKIES – January 23rd
AJ Cook is back at it, this time about some alien abductions and other weird shite. Why her name isn’t screaming in bold letters at the top, or a big blurb like ‘from the star of FINAL DESTINATION 2‘ is beyond me, cause let’s face it- she’s HOT and she’s the biggest star this puppy has- why not pimp her out? That, or maybe I just have an unjustifiably large fascination with the chick. And just because I sleep with a copy of FD2 under my pillow every night doesn’t mean that’s true.
The Goods:
GOING TO PIECES: THE RISE AND FALL OF THE SLASHER FILM – March 20th – Because it’s a documentary about your favorite type of genre film… why not give it some love?
THE QUICK AND THE UNDEAD – December 5th – Because it’s a zombie western… what more do you need?
RECON 2020 – December 5th – Because it’s from that winning team that brought us DEADEN, and it’s always nice to see the Arrow up there on the big screen.
