After what feels like years of hype and talk, the grindhouse throwback and all around bitchsploitation tribute flick BITCH SLAP is finally (FINALLY!!!) making its way onto DVD on March 2 courtesy of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, less than 2 months after its limited theatrical release of January 8. Nice!
Besides featuring a movie filled with cleavage, boobs, bullets, blood, high action, cheesy acting, and Kevin f*cking Sorbo, the DVD also has a number of Special Features, including:
Not a bad release for such a “B” movie, but considering the film stars Julia Voth, Erin Cummings, America Olivo, and features cameos by Sorbo, Michael Hurst (HERCULES), Lucy Lawless (XENA), and Renee O’Connor (XENA), it’s really no surprise that the DVD was given the star treatment. Plus, I’m really stoked they kept the film’s awesome theatrical poster for the DVD art–why fix what’s not broken, right?
