DVD trailer and art for Aussie horror comedy Cannibal Suburbia

Seems we’ve been on a horror comedy tear in the last couple of days, shining light on such varied subgenre efforts as TUCKER & DALE VS EVIL, DOGHOUSE, even DENIZEN to a certain extent. And to keep the trend alive, we have an extended look at D.A. Jackson and Jean-Luc Syndikas’ low budget Australian shock-fest CANNIBAL SUBURBIA.

Written by the two men themselves, CANNIBAL SUBURBIA goes a little something like this:

Man-eating body doubles and predatory party girls stalk the suburban streets of Melbourne in three taboo-defying tales dredged from the heads of Australian creative team Pleasant Productions. The collection opens with the traumatic story of an elderly lady who picks the wrong party to crash, moves to a fantasia about a practical joker and his disturbed doppelgänger, and ties it all up with the tale of a guy looking for love at the Snuff Machine.

Predatory party girls? A Snuff Machine? Clearly two vital ingredients of a legitimate good time. I mean, when your two top billed actors go by the monikers of Donkey Punch Disco and Secret Mango, you really don’t need to know much else, do ya?

Amos Phillips, Giulia Ferrari, Evonne Fletcher, Sarah Derum, Dean Kirkright, John Teague, Lee Foyster, Peter Reid, and Troy Nankervis round out the cast.

Despite being produced back in ’08, CANNIBAL SUBURBIA landed on DVD today (Feb. 2nd), Click Here to order that shite pronto.

Enjoy the footie!
