Should I call him Dwayne Johnson or The Rock? Does it matter? It feels more natural to call him, The Rock. I think this is due to the fact that used to watch him when he was still wrestling. I may have also found him attractive when I was 15. No idea why.
Anyway, school girl babbling aside, Johnson has met with Michael Bay who wanted him and Mark Wahlberg for his dark comedy, PAIN AND GAIN. The story is based on a Miami New Times article from 1999, about a pair of Florida bodybuilders who get caught up in an extortion ring and a kidnapping scheme that goes terribly wrong. The two actors would play the steroid abusing bodybuilders.
Unfortunately, it’s being said that Wahlberg will probably have to pass on the project due to his schedule.
It is still early and Johnson is currently one of the frontrunners. Maybe Wahlberg will find some time.
