A little while ago we reported that Johnson was in talks to headline the adaptation of Steve Moore’s 2008 graphic novel “Hercules: The Thracian Wars,” and for those of you who wished it would come true today is your lucky day as that’s just what Johnson will do.
I do so wish that this was being handled by someone with more distinct (and interesting) vision than Mr. Ratner, but perhaps Johnson’s charisma and the ample pre-production time will manage to make up for it. Or it won’t. Production is set to start this October in New Zealand.
