Eclipse’s Leah Gibson joins Katharine Isabelle in Soska Sisters’ American Mary

Another lovely Canadian actress has joined the cast of AMERICAN MARY: Leah Gibson (right, ECLIPSE, WATCHMEN). She was rumored to be attached before but has now officially signed on. She will play the role of Beatress Johnson, co-staring alongside Katharine Isabelle (below, GINGER SNAPS) and Paula Lindberg.

The picture marks the second feature for the Soska Sisters, Jen and Sylvia (DEAD HOOKERS IN A TRUNK). It comes from Twisted Twin Studios and Fortyfps Film Productions. CJ Wallis and Industryworks are co-producing with the Soska Sisters. The film is scheduled to shoot in Vancouver later this year.

AMERICAN MARY is the story of a medical student named Mary who is growing increasingly broke and disenchanted with medical school and the established doctors she once idolized. The allure of easy money sends a desperate Mary through the messy world of underground surgeries, which leaves more marks on her than the so-called freakish clientele.
