Edward Burns bringing Tosca Lee’s novel The Line Between to TV

Edward Burns is a name I think we all know from such classic films as SAVING PRIVATE RYAN and such 'meh' movies as 15 MINUTES co-starring Robert DeNiro and Peter Hyams' adaptation of Ray Bradbury's A SOUND OF THUNDER. Good or bad movies aside, he's not a man we usually think of in the horror genre. But that's all about to change as he just snagged the rights to Tosca Lee’s upcoming thriller novel THE LINE BETWEEN.

The plan is to turn the novel into a tv series and a search is underway for someone to pen the script. This is all well and good, but the interesting thing about it all is that this book has not even been published yet. Impressive, huh? That said, the book is said to be the first part in a "duology" and this first entry will be released later this month by Simon and Schuster.

Burns is producing under his Marlboro Road Gang Productions and will be teaming with Radar Pictures to develop this new film.
