Well we soon found out that Jackie Earle Haley would be tackling the role and it seems like that’s widley accepted throughout the genre community. The next question was… well if it’ll be any good. We’ll have to wait to find that out but what we do have is who’ll potentially be our new ‘Nancy!’
Well it’s not entirely official but the guys over at Bloody Disgusting say they’ve confirmed that Rooney Mara will be following in Heather Langenkamp’s footsteps. You can get a glimpse of her above. So what do you think? Will Mara be able to hold her own? Mara’s credits include DREAM BOY, THE WINNING SEASON, DARE, and the upcoming YOUTH IN REVOLT. No, I’ve never heard of any of those or Rooney Mara for that matter either… but I’ll go ahead and keep an open mind.
