Who won the role of Sarah Connor in TERMINATOR: GENESIS? Was it Brie Larson or Emilia Clarke? Well if you saw the headline then you already know it’s Clarke. The Mother of All Dragons has reigned supreme.

Honestly, I enjoy both actresses so I would have been happy either way. Alan Taylor who is serving as director on the 5th TERMINATOR installment has previously worked with Clarke on GAME OF THRONES. Deadline who delivered the breaking news is also saying that Jason Clarke (ZERO DARK THIRTY) is definitely in negotiations to play John Connor so to those of you who weren’t too happy with that idea it looks like you’ll have to get used to it.

How will she compare against Linda Hamilton? Linda Hamilton is Sarah Connor. She was great in the first two installments but really kicked some ass in TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY. Clarke’s co-star in GAME OF THRONES Lena Headey has also played Connor in TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES so maybe she can give her a few tips.

TERMINATOR: GENESIS is set for release July 2015.
