Mia (Emma Stone), an aspiring actress, serves lattes to movie stars in between auditions and Sebastian (Ryan Gosling), a jazz musician, scrapes by playing cocktail party gigs in dingy bars. As success mounts they are faced with decisions that begin to fray the fragile fabric of their love affair and the dreams they worked so hard to maintain. This trailer, much like the previous one, doesn't deliver anything in terms of dialogue, but rather a song from the film. It is a musical, after all, and I'll be damned if it's not working! The visuals are absolutely gorgeous and Emma Stone's voice sounds great! Director Damien Chazelle's WHIPLASH was a hell of a film, so I'm hoping that he can deliver with his follow-up!
