Emma Stone & Ryan Gosling are living the dream in the new La La Land trailer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Damien Chazelle‘s (WHIPLASH) latest picture features two star-crossed lovers (Ryan Gosling & Emma Stone) in L.A. who pursue their dreams of stardom, navigating crushing professional set-backs while trying to maintain their idyllic relationship. The first two trailers for LA LA LAND featured songs from the two leads, but now we have a new look that delivers something a little more along the lines of your typical trailer, but is every bit as riveting! Check it out!

It has been a hot minute since I’ve seen a great cinematic musical and LA LA LAND is poised to deliver. There’s no question that Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone have the talent, chemistry and then some. On top of that, we have Damien Chazelle, who’s proving to be a masterful writer (10 CLOVERFIELD LANE) and director (WHIPLASH). If our review from TIFF is to be taken to heart (check out Bumbray’s review HERE), December will indeed be a month to sing and dance!

LA LA LAND opens in theaters on December 16, 2016.
