Watchmen, The Mandolorian, Emmy

On Tuesday morning, Saturday Night Live and GHOSTBUSTERS alum Leslie Jones unveiled the Television Academy’s Emmy nominations 2020 list during a first-ever virtual announcement ceremony. She was joined by presenters Laverne Cox, Josh Gad, and Tatiana Maslany for the occasion, which while exciting, was met with more than a few technical issues during the broadcast.

Leading the pack for this year's nominations is HBO's WATCHMEN with a whopping total of 26 nods, while THE MARVELOUS MS. MAISEL led the comedy circuit with an outstanding total of 20 nominations. When it comes to Drama, OZARK and SUCCESSION garnered the most nominations with 18 awards apiece, while Jon Favreau's THE MANDALORIAN and SCHITT'S CREEK each received a total of 15 nods each.

The Emmy Awards will take place on September 20 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
