MTV.com (a nightmare in its own right) has an exclusive interview with the gloved-one himself, Robert Englund, in which he discusses all the possible scenarios for another NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET film, be it prequel or another “Vs.” smackdown. Most interesting bit: he mentions that John McNaughton (HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER) was involved in the prequel talks for a while, which to me sounds very kickass indeed.
He also talks a little about his newest horror flicks, HATCHET and BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON, both of which have gotten outstanding buzz, so cancel your plans to see WILD HOGS and support these burgeoning horror maestros instead!
