It was just the other day I was giving you all a look at a few new stills from Steven Soderbergh’s CONTAGION and now here I am today with yet another still for you guys from the intriguing thriller. But that’s not all! Courtesy of Entertainment Weekly not only do we have a new look at CONTAGION but we’ve also got a new still from James Watkins’ THE WOMAN IN BLACK. Two for the price of one! CONTAGION stars Matt Damon, Marion Cotillard (below), Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Bryan Cranston, John Hawkes and Gwyneth Paltrow and it’s rundown reads: Contagion follows the rapid progress of a lethal airborne virus that kills within days. As the fast-moving epidemic grows, the worldwide medical community races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus itself. At the same time, ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart.
And THE WOMAN IN BLACK’s cast includes Radcliffe, Shaun Dooley, Cathy Sara, Mary Stockley, Roger Allam, Liz White, Lucy May Barker, Tim McMullan, Alisa Khazanova, Daniel Cerqueira, David Burke and Victor McGuire with a synopsis that reads: THE WOMAN IN BLACK stars Daniel Radcliffe as Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer who travels to a remote village to organize a recently deceased client’s papers. As Kipps works alone in the client’s isolated house, he begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.
CONTAGION hits theaters on September 9th with THE WOMAN IN BLACK to follow a ways later on February 3, 2012.
