Epic 4-minute preview for Captain America: The Winter Soldier!

Get ready for the feels.

It should be stated initially that if you are wanting to go into CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER with as clean a slate as possible, then you shouldn't be watching a 4-minute long preview, so there's that. For all others, it's time for some goosebump-inducing awesomeness. This new preview is part clip/part trailer, much like the one shown at Comic Con last year. However, this is chock full of new footage and kicks off with a boat infiltration sequence, setting up Cap squaring off with Batroc The Leaper (Georges St-Pierre). If anything, this should leave you with little doubt that the action ante has been upped and that we're all in for a hell of a ride.

Suit up:

I'm hearing nothing but great things about this film and it's hard to contain my excitement, especially after stuff like this. This is the shit I geek out for. What I'm most impressed by is the scope of the action, which feels about as big as THE AVENGERS, minus the whole alien invasion stuff. Perhaps it's just the urban enviroment or the machine guns, but this feels more like a straight action film, more so than a superhero flick, which makes sense in a way as Steve Rogers is "superpowered" but probably the most vulnerable when compared to his compatriots IRON MAN and THOR. Perhaps that's what makes him a little more compelling to me.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford, Anthony Mackie, and Frank Grillo hits theaters on April 4, 2014. Get your tickets now!
