One of our horror masters is expanding his reach! Writer/ Director Eric Red (THE
HITCHER, BODY PARTS, NEAR DARK) has partnered up with IDW Publishing (the gents
behind Steve Niles’ 30 Days of Night) to bring us open-mouthed blood hounds the graphic
horror novel CONTAINMENT.

The novel will
be in full-color, will sport 32-pages and span over five-issues with the first
to be released   in January 2005.

Here’s the lowdown from the "Press Release":
"On a manned NASA space ship millions of
miles from Earth, a terrifying malfunction occurs in the cryogenic hypersleep
pods containing the hibernating astronauts, turning most of the crew into the
violently brain-dead. As the handful of surviving astronauts awaken intact from
their artificial slumber, they find they must contend with not only murderous
zombies but also their own hidden agendas and increasing feelings of isolation
and distrust."
